The Campaign: Futsal EURO 2026 Campaign
Brand Challenge: At the start of EURO 2026, the FPF set out to launch a campaign that could celebrate Portugal’s unique connection with futsal and mobilize the country behind the team. The challenge was to translate the raw intensity of the pavilions into a national message, reinforcing that Portugal enters this competition as the reigning back to back European champions, powered by a collective culture that is bigger than the court.
Strategic Approach: The strategy was built on a cultural truth that every futsal fan in Portugal recognizes: this game has always been about unity, resilience, and collective spirit. The film begins with a question that has echoed for generations and intimidated arenas from north to south, translated here as “You and what army?”, to express the passion, talent, and team-first mentality that define futsal in Portugal.
To ensure authenticity, every player called up for the tournament took part in the filming, expressing the shared commitment that connects the group on and off the pitch.
Creative Concept:
“Somos Nós e Portugal inteiro”
Us and all of Portugal.
More than a campaign, “Us and all of Portugal” is an invitation for every Portuguese person to stand with the team in every match, every goal, and every achievement. It is also a statement of identity: the team’s success reflects the energy of an entire country that lives and breathes futsal.
The film used the expression “You and what army?” as both provocation and promise, turning a classic moment of intimidation into a symbol of togetherness and national strength. By featuring all the call-ups, the content lands with credibility and reinforces the idea that Portugal never steps onto the court alone.
